Sentosa

I went to Sentosa today! Very long never go liao wor...there was enough sun today, so I finally got an acceptable tan (abit burnt on the arms, not enough sunblock there). We went via the new Sentosa Express! Very nice, and fast. Quick and easy...much better than the silly bus...

It was cloudy at first...so we were all quite worried that we wouldn't be able to get a nice tan...fortunately the skies cleared up and we managed receive the bounty that is ultraviolet rays! Heehee...skin cancer here I come! Wheee.......


We plopped ourselves down at Cafe del Mar, and bought some drinks (as payment for the using the place of course). $5 cup of camomile tea...whew...cheapest thing on their menu already, but I just wanted to use the very VERY nice tanning chairs. Got cool cushions on it also...so nice lor...

I wanna see what Cafe del Mar looks like at night though...I think it would be pretty funky. Al took alot of photos with his LOMO, but I think some of the shots got exposed. I hope not too many shots were spoilt...we took quite alot of fun shots.

It was quite relaxing to sit on the beds and just play bridge and tan and check out random people walking by. I will definitely go there again...and there were shower facilities too! One stop for everything.

After tanning (or burning in my case), we took the monorail back to the mainland, freaking fast lor...very very nice....I am loving it sia. I am thinking whether I should get the Islander card so that I can have free entry via the monorail everyday. Then I can go on my free days...ah well...
