Belly Off - Day 0

Today was the start of the big project. This project was inspired by all the comments I got when I went back to Reservist. Everyone was talking about how much weight I had gained, and how 'different' I looked. My GFAC could not stop laughing and smiling evilly at me (the shithead). I guess it didn't help that I failed my IPPT as well. *sulks*

So to confront, excite and inspire myself, I've decided take a leaf out of what I've learned at my new workplace, and start on this Belly Off journey, and to motivate myself by going public about it. (You have no idea how strange it was hitting the 'upload' button whilst knowing that my tummy/belly/bulge was going to be on a public arena).

Well, if I'm going to be a Men's Health writer, I better look the part right? =P

Anyway, this morning when I was trying to take a picture of the measuring tape around my waist, it broke! I tell you, it's true when they say that obstacles appear and try to stop you whenever you try to make a change. It felt for a moment, totally sinister when the tape broke...almost as if the universe was trying to stop me. Sheesh~

Anyway, this project is going to be like so: I am going to be exercising and over the course of two months, I will be reducing my belly. I will be judging it by my waistline, measured with a measuring tape from IKEA, and my own body weight, measured with a weighing scale from IKEA as well. (Have to keep all the control elements the same yeah?)

I want to regain some form of my former 'hotness', so wish me luck.

Oh yes, these entries will be photo entries, which means you will have to bear with my super ugly tummy for a few weeks.

I WILL REGAIN MY SHARP CHIN, and I WILL BANISH THE BULGE!

----------------------------------------

Waistline: 38.5 inches (measured around the belly-button)
Weight: 82 kg! (freaking fat sia)

Stay tuned for posts every Wednesday and Sunday! (You have no idea just HOW confronted I am right now, but I want to do this!)

Wish me luck guys! =)

In-Camp Training (21st - 26th June)

It was an excellent week.

Got loads of ideas for work from all the MEN there, and also reconnected with my army mates (they really are the best buds a guy can ask for.)

I can't wait to get back to work actually..there seems to be quite a lot of exciting things to write about! =)
