Glimpse into yourself...

I finished TCC last week. It was good...really. I do not regret taking it up. It has given me great insight and peace. I now look at myself through this magnifying glass and can see myself all the clearer. I will be posting up excerpts from my experience at TCC, and I hope my friends will begin to get what I went through.

To all my friends who keep asking me what it was like...I tell you that I really do not know how to explain it to you. For all my language skills and vocabulary, it really is beyond words. At least, the words I would choose would make you laugh...haha. If you really want to know, just give me a call, and I can bring you down to a preview...no strings, so promises. I will PROTECT you if that's what you are afraid of...that is my promise to you. Actually, the choice has to be made by you, but I will be shield you from all pressures you think you may experience (which you won't!) at a preview.

Until my next post, I want to thank all my new found friends for all the support you have given me with regards to my choosing to take this up for myself.

ok ok...i decided to take the leap of faith.

Tomorrow, I will be embarking on TCC. The Courage to Create. May the course give me valuable insights and may it be worth the S$1488 I spent on it! Cheers to self-discovery and a new me... ^_^

self discovery...

One's self is a thing most important. You cannot really truely live your life without knowing yourself. I think I need to start trying to find out more about what I AM all about. If not, I'm going to find it difficult to make any real progress in my life. I went for an interesting preview yesterday evening. It's for this course called The Courage to Create (TCC).

I would first like to thank Mish for making go for this preview, it was most enlightening. And to be honest, I found the company wonderful...everyone was sincere and truth, and shared from their hearts. It was about learning to find it in yourself to take leaps of faith...cos in general, we, as people seldom do that. So they talked about learning to take a leap of faith and do something for myself, to creat something...to destroy my comfort zone, all for the low, low price of S$1488.

I really appreciate and really did gain from the preview...but sadly to say, the issue of money is really a gigantic barrier for me. In all sense of practically, and the current assessment of my financial situation, I cannot afford this course...sorry Mish. I mean, I can see the tangible benefits in you, and in all the people in TCC, but I am not going to do it now. Maybe later? Maybe...

That aside, let's talk about work... I finally planned my leave schedule (thank the heavens!). I will work towards handing all my stuff over to my boss, and hopefully, he'll survive with the extra work. So this long period of rest, I will be preparing for my school in NUS...get new comp, pack up my room, blah blah...that kinda thing...that will require time and money...so sad, both of which I have so little of...haiz.

Anyhow, will be going down for Isetan private sales later...anyone wanna join me? The offer's good till 1800hrs, after that I won't be around anymore..heh...yeah...

My branch...most of whom are going to ORD liao!!! I'm happy for them! Some are happy, most are not...but, at least the inevitable fact is that we will all ORD eventually! ^_^ CHeers!!! Posted by Hello

the things i do for the Army...sigh

Can you actually believe that I'm in camp now? I went back to camp after my short day out with Michele. We had a bit of a walk-a-bout around Queensway Shopping Centre and Ikea, then stopped for cheesecake and Swedish meatballs at the cafe.

Then we headed down to Orchard for more walk-a-bout. It's been a long while since I've been out shopping with a girl, and boy, was I out of practice..haha. I had to endure a few 'changes of a mind', and of course, the fabled walk through the lingerie section of Tangs departmental store. It wasn't too bad, but I still got strange looks from the salespeople at the section. Mish, you should be glad you ahve a friend willing to walk through a lingerie section, and a guy at that.

Anyway, I'm now in camp. I returned to look for an application which I was supposed to have sent, but I really have no impression that I did. I'm definitely screwed, so yah...too bad for me. I will just have to explain to the poor chap I did not send the bloody thing out for processing lor...too bad...bah.

I should just begin to treat myself better I guess. No, not shirk responsibility, just be treat myself better lah...must learn to adopt a 'fuck lah' attitude towards certain things/people. Yeah...must stick to my mantra - It's 2005, ORD lor! ^_^

We may look unhappy, but we really aren't. First Class is a doozy..and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Sorry about the buck teeth...didn't realise I was biting my lips...haha...HOme Sweet Home! Posted by Hello

Everyone waiting to get on the plane home! So excited, so happy! I get to fly first class too! Mwahaha! Posted by Hello

The famed Taipei101...a shopper's dream. Must be armed with a credit card with a hefty credit limit though...if not sure cannot last. Think of it as Takashimaya X 4 = Taipei101. Posted by Hello

This is the TRTS, their version of the MRT. Everyone is very polite and follows instructions so that everyone can actually get on/off in time. Most impressive, really...can't say the same for Singaporeans..sheesh. Is keeping to one side of the escalator really that difficult? Posted by Hello

Meng took this using his 6260...one of the few times he's willing to twist the bloody thing..haha. Calvin is looking very bored don't u think? Posted by Hello

Same clothes is UNFORGIVABLE, but same spectacles still can accept..haha Posted by Hello

Cute cute baby tiger in some Taiwanese theme park...very hyper active... Posted by Hello

Second day of R&R and already a fashion faux pas...never EVER be caught wearing the same clothes as someone else..how embarrassing! I was crushed first thing in the morning...ugh... Posted by Hello

My wonderful tour guide. Her name if Nori/Xiao Juan. Friendliest tour guide I've ever met...bubbly and jumping all over the place...very happy person. Posted by Hello

off is good... *smilez*

It's been awhile since I last posted anything yeah? Well, I've been enjoying my nice long break after my Taiwan trip...(aah..it feels good typing on my keyboard again, Taiwanese keyboards suck, they're gym for your fingers man...must really mash the keys before anything comes out..haha)

Anyway, I've been just relaxing at home and doing nothing in particular. I did abit of catching up with some of my old friends like Xiaomin when I went down to NUS to do my medical checkup. I did however skip the Echo wing gathering...lazy lor...very bad of me actually...ah well.

I've decided that I will want to get my own desktop so that I can have something of my own to use instead of sharing with my bro...I mean I'm starting University soon, so why not right? Own room = own computer yah? Ok, ok...it's not the best reasoning, but it's all I've got working for me right now, so give me a break..sheesh.

I'll try to post some pics from my Taiwan trip up here yeah? There's something wrong with my iPod Shuffle, my comp can't seem to detect it...it started acting up in Taiwan, and still acting the same way even though we're back in Singapore already. Anyhow, supposed to go back to camp today to try to do some work, but I decided not to in the end...can't be bothered lah. I still have quite a few things to follow up and I haven't even started planning my leave/off yet...I think I'm too 'garang' (means 'on the ball', 'enthusiastic' that kinda thing) And Paul and Nicholas agree as well...I should learn to treat myself better.

Okay, I'll stop now and go and try to sort out my Shuffle, hopefully I can get it to work properly...yeah
