friends and a Filipino

I'm into the third week of school already. Not a bad feeling.

Today was my free day, and I spent it in school. I gymmed, lunched, and did quite a bit of reading. Quite happy with myself. Still trying to get into the groove of reading, it's not easy lah...after three months of hols, it sure isn't easy.

This new school term got many new friends by my side. Really feeling quite happy about that. Leo is still my superhero, and I think I found a new superhero in Dan (woof!). These superheroes are the ones who have similar wavelengths/frequencies etc with me. Really can tell them anything, and I am so glad that I have found them, and I thank them for letting me into their lives.

[Psst...these are the ones that I can 'pou ding wa chok' (cook 'phone porridge' in Cantonese, meaning to talk on the phone for a long time) with. And trust me, the porridge we make is excellent wor...]

I think the company for this new semester is really going to be great. Still have my mainstays (these are the ones who make life in NUS FASS so bearable/unbearable all at the same time) in sch - Vi, XW, Matt, Kel, HX, Ting, Golden Tudong person, Aunty M aka BFX, Max, Ding

I'm listening to this Filipino singer, Christian Bautista (please read this properly, he is NOT related to our Taufik!). I would not say his voice is super cool, and no, I do not agree with Chris and Marcus that he's a male version of Corinne May. He looks good, and sounds like an excellent Disney cartoon (before all the 3D shit we get nowadays; I'm talking Beauty & the Beast, Aladdin, Pochantas, Hercules etc, that era). He just brings me back to those good ol' days. Sighz...
